Michael Van Vliet, MD, FACS is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and Fellowship-Trained Critical Care Surgeon.

Michael Van Vliet, MD, FACS has been practicing as a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon for over 10 years. Upon graduating Albany Medical College, Dr. Van Vliet served as Chief Resident during his surgical residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He completed his burn and critical care fellowship at the University of California, Keck School of Medicine & Los Angeles County Medical Center.

As the anchor of a talented plastic surgery team, Van Vliet will be collaborating with Luminary’s Board-Certified Dermatologists and Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeons to perform Mohs surgery reconstructions. Additionally, he will offer a variety of elective surgical procedures to round out Luminary’s already robust menu of cosmetic and aesthetic services.
